IRON GLASS_ is a five-band parallel equaliser built on the behaviour of a tube and inductor signal path. Each band runs in parallel — shelf or bell, with selectable Q — and feeds a character stage that adds the colour of iron and glass as you push it. Independent input / output gain staging keeps the whole thing honest for mastering and mix-bus work.
Inside IRON GLASS_
100 Hz, 300 Hz, 1 kHz, 4 kHz and 10 kHz bands run in parallel — each switchable between shelf and bell, with FREQ and GAIN on dedicated controls. No phase-smearing series stack.
Five stepped Q values per band — 0.4, 0.7, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.5 — from broad mastering tilts to focused surgical moves, set with a single tap.
A dedicated character stage with COLOR (tube) and VOICING (iron) controls. Dial in the saturation and harmonic weight of the modelled path — from clean to clearly driven.
Linked input / output gain keeps levels matched while you work. Instant A/B compare and a preset browser make it fast to audition moves without fooling your ears with loudness.
